Lona West of Stockton, Missouri passed away Monday, February 20, 2012. She was a resident of the Lake Stockton Care Facility at the time of her passing.

She was born in Arnica, Missouri, May 5, 1917 to Steve Claggett and Addie Kitsmiller Claggett.

She was saved and baptized at a young age.

She was married to Ephraim Hamilton West. October 27, 1938. They had two sons and one daughter. She was a homemaker, faithful wife, loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, four sisters and one infant grandson.

Survivors include two sons, Charley and Gene of Stockton, one daughter Beulah and husband Ron Mathes of The Woodlands, Texas, grandchildren, Doug Mathes, Kelle Mathes and Jeff Mathes.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Brumback Funeral Home with visitation one hour before service time. Brother Ralph Benham will officiate and burial will be in Pankey Cemetery near Stockton. Pallbearers Kenney Stansbury, Mark Anderson, James Helt, Kevin Collins, Doug Mathes, Lonnie Swaggerty. Services for Lona M. West will be Thursday at 2:00 PM with visitation at 1:00 PM in the funeral Home. Burial in Pankey Cemetery Lona passed away Monday Morning in Lake Stockton Healthcare.
